How Does Your Garden Grow?

Ashlyn performed magnificently as a flower in her second grade musical called "How Does Your Garden Grow?". The musical was about a garden where weeds were taking over and the gardener was being blamed. It was actually a pretty funny musical and the class did really well. We were all really impressed. Ashlyn kept pretty quiet about it all (well, at least to me). I think she wanted to surprise me with her solo. She did so well! She sang with the song and was totally on key. I could tell she was a little nervous but she didn't show it. The solo was so good there wasn't a dry eye in the house! Ok, ok, ok--I was the only one that cried (I know, no surprise there) and I even told myself that I wasn't going to do that this time. :-) Oh well, what can I say? I'm a sap.
